FACULTY OF THEOLOGY

The Faculty of Theology at the Institute of Theology and Missions, Enugu, stands as the heart of our calling and vision—training men and women to serve God and humanity with wisdom, integrity, and a deep love for the truth of the Gospel. We are committed to equipping future ministers, missionaries, church leaders, and Christian scholars with the spiritual depth, academic excellence, and practical skills necessary for effective ministry in the 21st-century Church and society.

Our programs blend rigorous theological study with a strong emphasis on spiritual formation and practical application. Students engage deeply with Scripture, church history, Christian doctrine, and ethics, while also developing the pastoral, evangelistic, and leadership skills essential for ministry. Courses are designed not only to impart knowledge but also to shape character, cultivate discernment, and inspire a lifelong passion for God’s Kingdom work.

In keeping with our mission, the Faculty of Theology fosters a vibrant community of learning where faith and scholarship walk hand in hand. Students benefit from experienced lecturers, many of whom are seasoned ministers and academics, bringing a wealth of real-world ministry insight into the classroom. Practical ministry opportunities, internships, and mission outreach form an integral part of the learning experience, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared to serve in churches, mission fields, schools, and various community contexts.

Whether called to pastoral ministry, theological research, Christian education, or missionary service, our graduates leave with a strong biblical foundation, a Christ-centered worldview, and a heart for service. The Faculty of Theology is more than an academic division—it is a place where lives are transformed, leaders are shaped, and the Gospel is proclaimed in both word and deed.
